About WWOOF India
Who we are
WWOOF India Organics Pvt Ltd brings together consultants, farmers, growers, processors, packers, retailers, hosts, and volunteers across the organic food chain.
Rooted in exchange
The team combines wide-ranging disciplines and experience to provide quality, cost-effective advice and technical support across food production, farm management, organic systems, training, and market support on a national and international basis.

WWOOF connects people who want to volunteer on organic farms with hosts who offer food, accommodation, and opportunities to learn about organic lifestyles in return for volunteer help.
The movement began in England in 1971 when Sue Coppard arranged a working weekend at a biodynamic farm. The idea quickly grew as more organic farmers and smallholders welcomed people keen to exchange assistance, culture, and knowledge.
